Videoanruf mit Meeresbiologe James Tarte
Im September hatte die Klasse 4c mit ihrer Lehrerin Frau Schwarz ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis: Sie führten einen Videoanruf mit einem Meeresbiologen aus Sydney in Australien. Die Kinder waren sehr aufgeregt und hatten viele spannende Fragen auf Englisch vorbereitet.
James Tarte brachte faszinierende Bilder und Videos mit, die die Kinder in die beeindruckende Welt der Haie, Rochen, Fische und Korallen entführten. Er erklärte auch, welche Ausrüstung er braucht und was seine Aufgaben sind. Besonders wichtig war das Thema Umweltschutz: Gemeinsam mit den Kindern sprach James Tarte über die Gefahren für die Meeresbewohner und ermutigte die Kinder, aktiv zu werden und zu helfen.
Die Klasse 4c war begeistert und stolz darauf, diese spannende Unterhaltung auf Englisch geführt zu haben. Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, das sie sicher noch lange in Erinnerung behalten werden! Ein großes Dankeschön an James Tarte für dieses tolle Event!
Nach dem Videoanruf zog James Tarte auf die Philippinen, um an dem Institut für Meeresforschung in Dauin als Meeresbiologe zu arbeiten. Dort erfüllte er sich seinen Traum, mit Fuchshaien (Thresher Sharks) zu tauchen, und dachte dabei an die Kinder der Klasse 4c, denen er einen besonderen Gruß ausrichtete.
In September, class 4c, along withtheir teacher Ms. Schwarz, had a very special experience: they conducted a video call with a marine biologist from Sydney, Australia. The children were very excited and had prepared many interesting questions in English. James Tarte brought fascinating pictures and videos that took the students into the impressive world of sharks, rays, fish, and corals. He also explained what equipment he needs and what his tasks are. The topic of environmental protection was particularly important: together with the children, James Tarte talked about the dangers to marine life and encouraged the children to take action and help. Class 4c was thrilled and proud to have had this exciting conversation in English. It was an unforgettable experience that they will surely remember for along time! After the video call, James Tarte moved to the Philippines to work as a marine biologist at the Institute for Marine Research in Dauin. There, he fulfilled his dream of diving with thresher sharks and thought of the children in class 4c, sending them a special greeting.
